Everyone's an explorer at heart, and TACF's cruise and conference-at-sea is a great way to see the world and explore some of the most amazing places on earth, hassle-free. Your days at sea can be packed with activities from morning till night. Or just relax and soak in the Lord's Spirit. You can plan your time and make sure you don't miss out on anything.
The daily newsletter will keep you informed of the conference and shipboard activities. And when you arrive in each port, there are dozens of activities and shore excursions for you to take advantage of, if you truly want to experience the destination.
The many activities onboard are designed to stimulate, educate, entertain, inspire and sweat - not necessarily in that order. But, you can be sure we'll do our best to cover all the bases. And from art auctions to virtual golf, this ship is loaded with fun things to do.
Princess Theater
The Sapphire Princess' theater is designed with great acoustics, the best seats in the house, and stellar Broadway-style shows. The movies shown are all first-run feature-length films. Along with the cruise line's lavish productions CTW will feature full Christian conference sessions and a special morning series from our Speakers.
Internet Café
The ship's Internet cafe is absolutely gorgeous, occupying a bright, light-filled space with windows fronting on the promenade; it also has a coffee bar and cushy, comfortable seating. Listen to Frank Sinatra while you're waiting for your email to download. Assorted pastries and muffins are available during the early hours, and specialty coffees and soft drinks are available for purchase
Library
This cozy reading room has a collection of fiction and nonfiction books, CD's and listening stations with comfortable chairs, headsets and built-in CD players. Directly outside is the Writing Room, an open space with plenty of seating for composing letters and postcards.
Lounges
Club Fusion, for the young-at-heart, has been completely updated on the Sapphire to include multiple flat screen TV's and in table board games. The Wake View Bar, accessible via a circular staircase that descends from Club Fusion, is absolutely charming. This hidden gem is almost always empty. There's also Skywalker's Disco and Observation Lounge with its dramatic 125 foot balcony up on the Sky Deck.
Boutiques
Deals on duty-free designer clothing and gifts, including Lladro, Swarovski, Calvin Klein, Tommy Bahama, Lancome, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and Fossil - all up to 30% off.
Spa
The Lotus Spa is infused with Asian flavor, and perhaps one of the reasons the design is so well executed is that the ship was actually built in Japan. Camel and sage walls and chairs induce immediate relaxation; tall exotic plants and heavy black doors framing opaque glass transport you to the Far East. Another nice touch? Spa staffers wear black kimono-style frocks accented by big, bright flowers.
